I hope you dance

Greetings from Prague!

Here we are at the first stop of our summer holidays - The beautiful city of Prague in Czech Republic.

I was inspired and intrigued by this unique building of art called The Dancing House, where the shape of the facade was based on the shape and form of one of the greatest duos in the history of dance - Fred and Ginger.

Honestly, when was the last time you got up and dance?

My girl does it every single day with such delight on her face that it's infectious and makes me move to the beat with her. Hip hop, ballet, classical, you name it, she does it. Though they look mostly the same except for hip hop where she invented some of her own trademark moves.

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance

I hope you dance
I hope you dance
Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder, where those years have gone?

Honestly, no one cares whether you dance well or not. Not your kid, for sure.

So today, hold his or her hands, stand up, let your hair down, shake your body and dance on this stage called life!

Stay tuned for more pretty pictures and write-up on Prague!

    1. Haha I sure hope you did dance with Dana! I wonder where they get all the energy to dance all day but well, while I'm not dancing with her, I'm enjoying just being the audience who gives the loudest applause. =) Thanks! Prague was nice!

  5. Lovely post and pictures. The last time I got up and danced was when me and the hubby were both stressed out and tired, and he just got some music on and pulled me up to dance. It was quite hilarious!
